Friends of the Science Fair's purpose is to support the Science and Engineering Fair participants in the State of Florida.

Through the sale of photographs and other fundraising activities, FoSF has helped thousands of young science fair participants compete in Science and Engineering Fairs at the State and International levels.

In the past, when a child qualified for the State or International Science Competitions, his/her parents had to pay hundreds of dollars for the trip themselves. Sometimes deserving students could not take part in this incredible experience because of the financial burden on their parents.

Friends of the Science Fair was started to give everyone an equal chance to participate.
